The publication contains essays by Bruno Latour, Sanford Kwinter, Rolf Pfeifer, Georges Teyssot and Angelus Eisinger. Twelve case studies regarding architectural research of the 20th century refer to the historical background of the exhibition topic. Four studios of ETHZ and EPFL, represented in the exhibition, and their current work are introduced in-depth. The book is structured in four chapters which are separated by insertions showing the working environment of the studios.
